Job Title: Maths Teacher
Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 (+TLR 2)
£22,917 - £38, 633 (£2,667 - £6,515)
Job Start: September 2018
On behalf of a faith school in Wolverhampton, we are looking to recruit two full-time Maths teachers for permanent positions. This is a school which is relatively new but has already developed a strong local reputation and is hopeful of securing at least a good grading in their first Ofsted. The school benefits from being part of a small Trust of four similar schools nationwide. Applicants do not have to be followers of the school's faith but must be respectful of the school's values and beliefs. The school's building will be fully complete by September 2018, so you will have the opportunity to work in a purpose-built school with modern facilities and technologies.
The vacancy has arisen because the school has been growing over the last few years and will have pupils in years 7-10 from September 2018. The school are keen to appoint an experienced Maths teacher to take on a second-in charge role, as well as a Maths teacher who would be looking for a teaching only role, at least initially. As such, the latter position would be well suited to an NQT or a teacher in the early stages of their career.
If you have a passion and commitment for teaching and learning, have high personal expectations of your own achievement and professional development, and are creative and energetic, this could be the position for you.
The school welcome applicants who believe that every child can succeed and can provide:
- excellent classroom practice
- the ability to teach Maths at KS3 and 4 (KS5 is desirable with an eye to the future)
- a commitment to raising the achievement of all pupils
- a team player approach
- willingness to give and receive support
The School offers:
- excellent induction and extensive CPD programme
- a supportive senior leadership team
- opportunities for career progression
- a technology rich school and a new building (with fantastic grounds and parking)
The school has a strong ethos of student welfare therefore any successful applicant will undergo a full enhanced criminal record check (DBS). For more information please contact John Byrne at Empowering Learning Ltd. on
