Working within Coventry University’s Marketing team, this role will develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of the University Group Postgraduate and PhD, marketing campaigns both UK and international.

Utilising market insight and intelligence, you will ensure that campaign marketing is developed in line with audience needs and outperforms competitor offers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To co-ordinate accurate course information for all relevant courses for use across a variety of media from prospectuses, brochures, web pages and other promotional materials for both a UK and international audience.

• To update relevant web pages and ensure copy is accurate, well-written and outline key information using a variety of rich media.

• To identify and deliver content that influences and enhances the decision-making process for prospective postgraduate students.

• Working with Alumni develop internal campaigns both UK and overseas to support the promotion of the successes of our postgraduate students.

• To gather content from students, employers, careers service and all key stakeholders to provide testimonials, blogs, social media content to support promotion of the postgraduate offer.

• To produce content (basic video, podcast and blogs) to provide content for web pages and campaigns.

• To manage devolved budget, manages all aspects of campaign production.

• Support open days and recruitment events both on and offline.

Person Specification:

• You will be a proactive, passionate and driven Campaign and Marketing Officer with experience of planning, developing and delivering campaigns for UK and International audiences.

• Previous experience in Media planning/ buying and working with agents to deliver International campaigns is required.

• Educated to a degree level or relevant professional qualification, you will have a good understanding of web metrics and analytical skills to report on campaign effectiveness.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others to achieve common goals.

• Strong IT skills including word-processing, web skills and spreadsheets

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• A strong team player with the ability to work on own initiative.

• Willingness to travel and the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service

• A Clean UK driving license and/or access to an independent means of transport due to travelling involved
