Make an impact, be a support worker!
We’re looking for 6 new enthusiastic, motivated and positive children’s residential support workers to work within our sexual trauma home in Tamworth. We currently support three young boys between the ages of 6-11years old. However, we will be looking to invite a fourth child into our home in the near future.

If you join the Cambian family, you’ll walk in to a small, supportive group of individuals that offer care and support to children with complex needs as a result of some form of sexual abuse and/or trauma. This role will no doubt present you with challenges. However with that being said, we believe it is one of the most rewarding jobs out there for the right individuals.
Requirements:
You must be at least 21 or over.
You must have a full UK driving license
NVQ level 3 in Children and young people’s workforce and/or Health and social care (desirable not essential)
Salary: £8.15-9.00 p/h (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Shifts:
8am-11pm
8am-11pm- then sleep 11pm-7am- morning handover 7am-9am
Weekends:
9am-11pm
9am-11pm- then sleep 11pm-7am- morning handover 7am-9am
Two weekends on two weekends off, one on call a month on one day of the weekend (paid at time and a half)
This is subject to changes, depending on staff levels within the home.
Rotas are available 2/3 weeks in advance (flexibility required in case of emergency and/or sickness)
Location:
Our 5 bedroomed detached children’s home is situated in Tamworth on a quiet, pleasant cul-de-sac. This is a warm, welcoming home with many desirable features such as; 5 large bedrooms for the children, 1 sleep in room for staff, a staff office, lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, playroom, bathroom and spacious garden.
Duties and responsibilities:

- Recording and documenting
- Care plans
- Liaising with outside agencies and internal clinical teams
- Household jobs (laundry, cooking, cleaning)
- Helping the children access education
- Transporting the children to school, extra activities, social activities and appointments.
- Implementing routine into the children’s everyday
- Attending and conducting key work sessions with the children
