Salary: £33,525 to £37,738 + excellent benefits
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (permanent)
The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is a strategic authority working with partners to deliver a stronger West Midlands, with a focus on skills, innovation, transport, economic development and regeneration. Individual Councils and Local Enterprise Partnerships will still deliver services and retain their identity but on the big decisions we will have the resources to work together.
This is an exciting time for the West Midlands - the Commonwealth Games will be here in 2022, the arrival of HS2 will help make us a world class business location and a new £350m housing deal aims to deliver 215,000 new homes by 2031.

The Programme Management Office ensures that all projects within the WMCA Investment Portfolio are managed and assured to the highest possible standard, in addition to supporting projects across the wider WMCA, including Transport for West Midlands (TfWM).
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for providing a comprehensive programme management service across WMCA large scale programmes. You will have a high standard of planning, delivery and assurance, and be experienced in the use of standard project/programme planning packages which will enable you to provide tools, guidance, advice and support on all aspects of programme management best practice.
To be effective in this role, you will be an excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with key stakeholders, both internal and external. You will be politically sensitive, with the ability to successfully manage delicate situations.
