Your challenge

Our fast, accurate laboratory analysis service is attracting more clients than ever. As this part of our business grows, we need a bright Trainee Account Manager to manage a number of customers. You’ll be part of a close, seven-strong Customer Service team that works directly with Sales and Technical staff at every stage of a project. Your task? To manage a portfolio of accounts and strive for outstanding customer service. That means being on hand, right from the initial quote, through the testing of samples to the reporting of results. You’ll also be answering customer queries by liaising with technical experts. With the help of our dedicated team, you’ll learn how to make every project run without a hitch. What’s more, you’ll have the chance to build your skills by tackling new business. This isn’t just a case of winning new accounts; you’ll be involved throughout the process and even help to 'bed-in’ brand new clients.

Your profile

If you’ve got the drive to excel, we’ll help you build a great career. But first, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the special blend of people and technical skills we’re looking for. You’ll need an aptitude for science (ideally a degree) plus knowledge of chemistry, basic lab procedures and scientific terminology. At the same time, you’ll need to bring impressive customer service skills. Professional, positive, organised and IT-literate, you’ll be prepared to develop your talents and build your scientific knowledge.
