Experienced Bookkeeper required to join a well-known business based in Coventry. Working 3 days per week, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own workload.

Duties to include:

  • Preparing Accounts
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Dealing with Suppliers and checking costs
  • Telephone answering and general office administration
  • Conversant with Sage and Excel

Skills and Duties

The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and must be proficient in Excel. The successful candidate will ideally have a good working knowledge of:

  • Entering supplier invoices onto Sage either manually or via a scanned document
  • Creating spreadsheets
  • Entering sales invoices
  • Responsible for keeping files up to date and paperwork filed accordingly along with general office filing.
  • Responsible for the office petty cash, reconciliation of the petty cash float and posting receipts
  • Answering of the telephones and fielding/directing calls to the relevant member of staff
  • Responsible for keeping the office neat and tidy
  • Office Administration and general post
