I am recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager based in Birmingham on a permanent basis and wanted to request assistance in securing an exceptional candidate. The ideal candidate will come from an organisation within one of the following sectors, Utilities, Construction, Facilities, An Organisation That Outsources a Service, Fast Moving Private Sector Company or FMCG.

Please note: Please note that ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification is essential for this role

The salary for this role is: between £50,000 and £63,000 per annum depending on experience

Requirements of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:

  • Produce the divisional monthly management reporting to all levels of the business
  • Hold responsibility for all forecasting and budgeting
  • Handled management of the consolidated cash flow forecasting process
  • Manage the overhead reporting and forecasting process
  • Driving change initiatives to maximise performance
  • Ensure delivery and maintenance of high quality financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and cash flow reporting to aid business decision making
  • Provide variance analysis and commentaries on key business drivers
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements
  • Liaise with the Business Unit teams across the division in producing all the monthly contract management reporting, applying challenge where necessary
  • Communicate suggestions for increased efficiency within the department and business
  • Supporting on going systems enhancements and processes
  • Producing the consolidated monthly forecasting
  • Putting together the consolidated budget and the annual business plan

Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be a part qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS
  • Must have experience in a similar role
  • Strong excel skills, to macro level
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills
