An engineering company in the West Midlands are seeking a Chief Engineer to join their team. If you have experience of analogue and digital design, as well as knowledge of low-level C-Code programming for embedded microprocessors, then you may be the Engineer we're looking for. What will you be doing? As a Chief Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining strategy in relation to Electronic Hardware Design and Embedded Software. You'll have the ability to coordinate the input for proposals and quotes through to submission and follow these up for response. In addition to this, you'll drive cohesion and regular interaction with other departments to ensure structured sharing of information and seamless consistency of project delivery within budget. What skills/experience should you have? Degree qualification or equivalent qualification or experience Experience with appropriate simulation tools and capability of producing appropriate product documentation Capability in design and system analysis techniques such as FMEA/HAZOP Working knowledge of typical environmental/stress/EMC testing procedures used by a variety of automotive OEMs Ability to manage associated budgets, production schedules and resources Valid driving licence Who will you be working for?
