Business Development Manager

A leading manufacturer of safety critical applications, is looking to recruit an experienced & results driven Business Development Manager to join their team.

Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering sales strategies for assigned accounts ensuring financial targets and KPi’s are met.

The Successful Candidate:

* Proven track record as Sales / Business Development Manager with experience gained in either IT, Communications, Security or Cyber environment.
* Experience in selling system solutions
* Driving License
* Prepared to travel overseas and stay away from home on occasion where required

Responsibilities Overview:

* Develop robust sales strategies to ensure company profit targets are met
* Manage and develop both existing & new customer relationships
* Prepare bids & proposals
* Update the internal CRM system for all prospects
* Produce monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
* Regular periodic customer visits
* Attend exhibitions, network events &
* Be able to identify and on board new clients
* Support in New Product Introduction
* Accurately capturing the customers’ requirements
* Assist with contract negotiation.
