About the Client:
We are a successful independent company that operate within the FM Sector providing a tailored contract cleaning service to the private and public sectors. Due to growth and expansion we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and work closely with our Sales Divison. The main purpose of the role is to generate new business as well as build on customer relationships to increase existing contracts with additional services.

About the Role:
Selling Contract Cleaning into the Public & Private Sectors with a focus on Schools, Medical Centre, Offices and Leisure Centres (our current areas of strength)
The position requires a professional, well-informed and consistent approach to both internal and external contacts
You will be focused on new business, networking with our very pro-active operations teams
You must be able to source and developing your own appointments and opportunities
You will be developing new business in West Midlands, Northern Home Counties and surrounding areas so we are looking for someone located in one of these areas

About the Candidate:
We are looking for someone that will become the spearhead of our new business drive throughout the Midlands and it will suit someone who would embrace this level of responsibility
We have strong, long standing relationships within the education sector so an individual who has experiences within this sector would be desirable.
You should have excellent commercial instincts and be a solution based seller.
Working knowledge of the Contract Cleaning Market in Midlands/ Northern Home Counties is essential - Preferable with at least 3 years' experience selling contract cleaning
This role will suit someone who would be comfortable with, and be a contributor to the further growth of our commercial team

Points of Appeal:
Up to £50k salary + Commission + Full Benefits
