Megger Instruments Limited, a subsidiary of Megger Group based in Dover, Kent where Megger operates UK-based Design and Development centre of excellence with a new exciting Research and Development Centre in Kings Hill, Kent to complement its existing Engineering resources in Dover.

Because of continuing expansion Megger Instruments Ltd require a High Voltage Technician based in the Midlands to be responsible for both pre-planned and reactive servicing and maintenance of Megger’s range of cable test vans and High Voltage instrumentation.

Reporting to the Service Manager based in Dover, applicants must be self-motivated and versatile as well as having some experience of working on High Voltage instrumentation. A detailed product training programme will be available on all relevant Megger products

As a Mobile Technician you will need to carry out planned scheduled maintenance and reactive tasks following unforeseen breakdowns etc.

Although contractually working a 37 hour week you will also be required to work reasonable overtime as and when required.

The ideal candidate will:

    Have qualifications in Electrical Engineering and be familiar with the repair and servicing of High Voltage productsA knowledge of Health and Safety practices applicable to working with High Voltage is essential and full compliance of the companies Safety Rules must be adhered toEnjoy working in a dynamic team environment for a successful growing companyComplete all documentation such as Field reports, time sheets and fault sheets in a timely fashion and to exacting standardsTo promote the company in this customer facing role by being a customer champion, ensuring that their needs are put firstHave a full driving licenseBe used to working away from home
