Electro & Repairs Engineer
We are looking to recruit an electro-repairs engineer who will carry out work both in the workshop and out on site. The work carried out by the engineers covers a vast range of skills used in both these areas. If you are able to bring any of these extra skills mentioned below to the workplace or on-site that would be a great advantage.
Workshop duties:
The main role of the electro-repairs engineer is to carry out mechanical service/repair to AC/DC motors, gearboxes and pumps. The main tasks involved would be:
* Dismantle units coming into the workshop
* Assess the fault of the unit
* Put together repair quote for customer
* Carry out repair work once quote approved
* Follow company procedures to carry out all works, recording data and hours spent
Attributes:
It would be an advantage but not a necessity to have any of the following skills for use in the workshop. Otherwise training will be given where necessary:
Experience of winding copper on AC/DC motors, motor repairs, Siemens, ac/dc servo motors and high-speed spindles.
