DEPUTY MANAGER - COTSWOLDS - WEEK ON /OFF SHIFT PATTERN (YES - YOU GET EVERY OTHER WEEK OFF WORK!)
£26,000 - £31,000 per annum plus company pension, life assurance, cash health plan and excellent professional development including management pathway and funding for professional qualifications!
This lovely Ofsted 'Outstanding children's home seeks a new Team Manager (Deputy Manager level role) to join a fantastic Manager and team that supports a group of vulnerable adolescent girls (EBD).
You will provide quality care for a group of vulnerable adolescent girls with day-to-day responsibility for managing, directing and supervising a staff team. You will hold or be working towards your QCF/NVQ 3 in Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent, and relevant experience in residential childcare is essential. You will need to be a car driver and hold a full, clean driving licence. You will have a genuine desire to work with young people, be able to engage positively with them, enjoy being in their company undertaking activities and be passionate about enabling them to succeed. You will also be required to participate in the caring of various animals on site.
You will be working The Alternate Week Shift pattern. This pattern involves working for 7 days including sleep ins/on call, followed by a week off shift.
