An exciting new opportunity has now come available for the right applicant to work in the purchasing department as a buyer as part of an electronics company Stoke on Trent! Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- to purchase in line with MRP driven demand
- to perform analysis from the MRP demand and place orders in the line with the demand and time horizens
- Database maintenance of supplier buyer and cost - system cleansing of purchase of open orders
- support customer order bank and ensure the placement of purchase orders in a timely manner to achieve customer due date
- develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Account Management team
Skills Required
- must be able to perform under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- excellent numerical skills
- strong communication and organisational skills
- ability to use own intiative
- work as part of a team
- flexible
- attention to detail
- time management
- to provide an excellent standard of customer service to our internal and external customers
- good knowledge of "Visual" required
- Good IT skills, knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- some time spent in electronic manufacturing preferred
Days are 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday Apply online today
