We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for delivering operational excellence and who have a drive to succeed within the transport Industry as a Operations Management Trainee, to become our leaders of the future.

You will be working within one of our operational garages, giving you a ‘hands-on’ insight into all aspects of the day to day operation within these busy teams. Initially you will attend our corporate and operational induction, followed by a period of time shadowing the team to gain in-depth operational knowledge, which will then lead onto acting roles as supervisors and managers within the organisation.

You will be supported by a Mentor for the duration of the programme, who will support your career development over an 18 month period to help you reach your full potential as an Operational Management Trainee, and obtain your level 3 Supervisor/Team Leader apprenticeship qualification, accredited by CMI and delivered in partnership with South & City College Birmingham.

We are looking for well-rounded individuals who can demonstrate strong operational knowledge with a passion for the transport industry and understanding of our business as well as wider society, and who are able to interact at all levels.

This programme is designed with your development as the focus. The placements, training and qualifications will provide you with the skills and tools that you need to become a competent manager within our business.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, late nights and weekends as required
* Outstanding time management skills
* Proactive approach to problem solving
* Ability to work across multiple sites
* High standard of computer literacy
* PCV Driving Licence - preferred (no more than 3 penalty points)

You may have previous experience in the following; operations, management, HGV, transport, engineering, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, team leading, supervising, health and safety
