What will your day-to-day as an Applications Developer involve?

You will play an integral role in the web application development team, utilising modern tools and techniques to create leading products within the Wealth Management sector. Activities will include working on new and existing features, as well as troubleshooting and fixing issues.

As you will be liaising with relevant departments and various colleagues to establish viable options for client solutions are met, you will need to be well organised and possess good communication skills.

As the successful Applications Developer you will have:

• Good JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
• Good Java or .NET development skills
• Professional experience working on eApps or central components with an emphasis on integrations
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Good understanding of web standards and architecture
• Working knowledge of algorithmic programming and multi-tiered object-oriented development / OOD
• Good experience with software development cycles and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with teams in different time zones is a bonus - this role will require collaborations with APAC teams
• Experience with Python is a bonus, but not essential
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, Schema's etc. would be a bonus
• Financial services sector experience preferred but not essential
