Does a dynamic growth environment excite you? you want to make a difference?.... our client is a well-established, rapidly growing market leader in the design, manufacture, installation and service of an innovative range of specified high value technical products and systems for a prestigious portfolio of end-user customers who are now looking to recruit a high calibre Key Account and New Business Development Manager to help lead them through a period of tremendous change, opportunity and growth.

The Role

This role will see you drive sales and growth from existing key accounts whilst maintaining the new business pipeline with the view of on-boarding new customers to the business.

You will need to manage customer communications and also work closely with the project engineers and solutions development team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential commercial issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

Whilst establishing strong relationships with the decision makers you will also be responsible for commercial negotiations scoping any changes in a professional manner on a day to day basis.

The Person

With the ability to develop meaningful business relationships at a senior level and leading and managing multiple opportunities concurrently, you will be educated to a degree level (ideally in a business or engineering subject) and have a demonstrated history of selling solutions into the FMCG or manufacturing environments.

Being able to bring in new business as well as delivering into an established customer base you will have the commercial acumen and track record of successful customer management and profit project responsibility.

This role is ideal for an individual who is looking to continue and grow their career with imminent plans of expansion that does require travel across the UK & Europe to visit customer sites (this role can be home based)
