Hotel Receptionist - The George Hotel, Lichfield We now have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Front Office team. The role will involve working at The George Hotel and also The Cathedral Hotel both situated in the heart of Lichfield City centre. As Receptionist you will use a computerised system to handle guest bookings and enquiries, ensuring correct payments and guest requirements are recorded. With outstanding customer service skills, you will offer friendly and expert information and guidance to guests and visitors, you will liaise with other departments to actively promote the hotel’s facilities and ensure guests extract the maximum benefit from their stay. Professional use of the telephone is a key part of the role. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have experience of dealing with the public. Hotel reception experience is preferred and knowledge of computerised booking systems would be an asset. We currently operate Micros Opera. This is a full time role, 40hrs per week, working shifts between 7am and 11pm. Candidates must be flexible and available for work any day of the week.
