I am currently working with one of our clients, a fast growing specialist care provider for Children & Young People with Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. A fantastic employer and one of Stoke on Trent's most innovative and forward thinking Residential services provider.

My clients site is a residential service operating a number of Homes in the Stoke area for Children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The client provides care and residential support for children and young adults between the ages of 8- 18 years of age.

We are looking for Children's Residential support workers who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for the people in their care.

You will be providing care and support to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities.

Key Tasks

* To support the personalised development of each Resident.
* To respect the dignity and individuality of each Resident.

* To ensure a high standard of personal care for each Resident, including matters of physical wellbeing and personal hygiene.
* To be aware of the emotional needs and aspirations of each Resident.
* To undertake Keyworker responsibility for individual residents.
* To work on a rostered shift system inclusive of evening, weekend work and sleep ins.
* To work within the residential environment providing developmental and Educational support to residents.

If you have the right values for this organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training, learning and development, you will need a Full UK driving licence with business insurance use and access to a vehicle.
