Academics Ltd is an education agency who has been working with primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent for the last 6 years.

We are currently working with a large successful primary school in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a EYFS specialist to support their foundation class . The role is to start after the Easter Holidays and will run until the end of the summer term and possibly beyond.

The headteacher has decided to invest in the children who would benefit the most from early intervention. This role would be ideal for a teaching assistant who is looking for a full time on going role, and has a passion for early years foundation stage education.

Ideally the Primary teaching assistant will have experience of

Supporting a foundation / reception class

working with groups of children to support teaching and learning

Understanding and implementing planned lessons and activities

supporting children with additional needs and EHCP

reinforcing positive management strategies

Early Years teaching or teaching assistant qualifications

For this role as an Academics Teaching Assistant you will need

* 12 weeks experience in an environment working with children in a primary school in the last 2 years
* A positive can do attitude
* A proactive approach
* Immediately available to commit to long term full time work
* To be able to work 8.30am to 3.30pm in Stoke-on-Trent
* Early Years teaching or teaching assistant qualifications.
