Continuous Improvement Expert Practitioner required for one of the largest Utility companies. They recognise that investments in both employee development and working environment drive them forward as a modern, innovative and ultimately industry leading operation
Responsibilities:
• Establishment of appropriate visual management boards and processes in shared planning/operational locations to support active management of forward plan and in day work delivery
• Design of reusable visual management/continuous improvement approach for all planning locations
• Facilitation of rapid design workshops between project team members and business teams
• Communication and explanation of standardised processes and RACI to the teams, providing hands on support to get them embedded
• Determining which pilot interventions have been successful and which require amendment before rolling out to other work centres
Experience/skills/characteristics:
• Skilled in use of / establishing visual management
• Charismatic, personable and decisive style, able to handle uncertainty
• Excellent communicator, able to motivate, excite and encourage teams to unite around shared objectives
• Experience managing, designing, implementing or improving work planning and scheduling processes
• Desirable: Experience managing, designing, implementing or improving demand management and capacity planning processes
• Desirable: Experience managing a mobile workforce and/or designing, implementing or improving workforce performance monitoring and incentivisation
• Desirable: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent) and/or Lean Scrum Master

Day rate: GBP500
