Office Junior

To join  'General Office' team in a fast paced office in Oldbury. Daily administrative support tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and welcome visitors / reception duties
  • Answer multi-line telephone system, determine caller's needs and route to the appropriate department / person in a polite and professional manner
  • Perform data entry via Sage line 50
  • Process / input of purchase orders
  • Process of dispatch notes and invoices
  • Maintain customer records / data control
  • Receive and route incoming mail deliveries and prepare outgoing mail and packages for pickup
  • Filing, scanning, photo copying, printing of all required documents
  • Order lunches/refreshments for meetings
  • Observe all Health / Safety and Company Policies / Procedures
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.

 

Key Skills and qualifications: 

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum level 2)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Effective communications, organization and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi - task and prioritise work load
  • Attention to detail
  • Works well in a team environment and on own initiative
  • Adaptable approach to business requirements and within faced paced environment

 

Other requirements: 

  • Willingness to travel to other sites and perform similar administrative support if required
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative support role is essential
