Europe’s leading provider of 4D theatre and amusement ride motion systems and audio visual technology, Simworx are currently engaging in an exciting period of expansion and new product introductions to a global market.We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring compliance with company strategy, commitments and goals.To project manage, the design, manufacture, production and installation of a variety of different attractions, including 3D simulators, 4D cinemas and Dark Ride attractions which are part of Simworx product portfolio.Reporting to the Head of Engineering Projects, the Project Manager will ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. You will establish and maintain relationships with the client, all stakeholders and third parties/vendors through delivering quality customer/client service.The successful candidate will have experience in project delivery with a technical background and understanding or hands-on experience in the delivery of one or more of the following technical disciplines: mechanical, electrical or A\V systems.It would be beneficial if you have working experience of the theme park industry, but not essential.You will come from a Technical background, preferably in the fields of engineering for technical project managers. An AMP / PRINCE II certification would be beneficial.Key Duties will include:Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetDeveloping project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with company processes and proceduresThe ideal candidate will:Have significant previous experience in project managementHave a background in managing safety critical manufactured capital equipment projects Have the ability to communicate effectivelyHave strong leadership skills, including experience of leading teams and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets as requiredHave a formal project management qualification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30 or equivalent)Have experience and understanding of working within a dynamic SME businessIf you feel you possess the right skills and background, please apply directly to Claire Callow stating your salary requirements.
