Are you self-motivated and able to work alone? Do you like troubleshooting? Are you organised with excellent customer service skills? Do you enjoy being hands on where no two days are the same? If so, then this may be the position for you. We require Property Recovery Technicians to join our team. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25K per annum plus a full uniform is provided, work van, mobile phone and iPad.

We are a Disaster Recovery business. We assist our clients in returning properties to pre-incident conditions following water damage such as flooding and escapes of water.

The Property Recovery Technician will be required to travel to properties to assist homeowners by carrying out remedial work to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.

It is a hands-on role and will involve undertaking clearing of debris, working with specialist suppliers if necessary and commissioning drying techniques so the property doesn't suffer further damage and is made habitable in the shortest possible timeframe. The Property Recovery Technician will also be responsible for compiling reports and providing costs to our clients and keep them updated on the progress of each property. The role is fully supported by a team of Administrators and a Technical Team.

The successful Property Recovery Technician will be given full training and provided with transport, tools and equipment. The role will cover the following postcodes; NN, PE, LE,CV, MK, SG and CB.

The successful applicant will:

* Have experience of working in the damage management industry along with a British Damage Management Qualification is essential
* Ideally have a construction background, plumbing qualification or understanding of the built environment but not essential
* Have a full driving licence
* Possess excellent customer service and communication skills

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00. Applicants must be willing to take part in an on call rota, normally one in every 3 to 4 weeks.
