Were looking for someone with a keen interest of the property sales and Receiver of Rent processes to join our First Mortgage Servicing department as a Sales and Lettings officer.



Are you results driven? Do you have the ability to analyse situations and create appropriate solutions? If so then this could be the role for you.



The purpose of the role is to facilitate the sales and lettings of property at the best possible price.



Duties and responsibilities of the role include:

Instruction to Estate Agents including explanation of terms and negotiating of fees

Make regular contact with the agents to monitor and encourage their marketing efforts

Pro-actively manage caseloads to ensure properties are sold / let within agreed service levels

Negotiate offers, price reductions and incentives with agents

Communicate with other third parties, for example contractors, tenants, utility companies and solicitors

Prepare paperwork, work daily event queues and maintain effective records



Skills

Ability to prioritise workloads, good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An understanding of the property sales process, agency practice and relevant legislation

Good understanding of the Receiver of Rent process

Ability to analyse situations and create appropriate solutions

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team

Approachable, consistent and friendly manner



The Working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch). A flexible approach to working hours is required.
