Spanish Teacher - Secondary School – Solihull – Sept 2018

Academics Ltd are working alongside a School in a transition period to recruit a strong teacher of Spanish to join a thriving and growing MFL department. This role will require you teaching at GCSE with some A-Level teaching as the School looks to introduce the subject to its A-Level syllabus from next year. This is a permanent position to start from September (October for the right candidate) with interviews taking place from June.

The School are looking for a dedicated and reflective practitioner with excellent organisation and communication skills. You will be able to act as a role model in creating, planning and delivering high quality lessons to facilitate students in making excellent progress.

Much time is committed to developing a wide range of teaching and learning strategies to be implemented within the subject, with a focus on a collaborative approach to planning with centralised, shared units of work and resources. As a department, the school follow the AQA specification at KS4 and, at KS5, they currently offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma and are scheduled to introduce A Level courses in September 2018.

Start Date: September 2018 or October for the right candidate (Full-time, permanent)

Salary: MPS

You will be required to have current teaching experience and hold a UK teaching qualification.
