International Trade & Compliance Controller


Duration: 6 months

Pay rate: £13-16ph (Dependant on experience)

The Ideal Candidate MUST have the following:

*3-4 years ITC (International Trade & Compliance) experience with an Aviation Background

*Working knowledge of license applications to the UK Government/Military

The ITC Coordinator is a key member of the ITC team responsible for implementing and managing internal ITC program as defined through Policy Deployment.

You are responsible for implementation of the policies, procedures and standard work to ensure export authorizations are correctly applied for, executed and managed by Aftermarket function in accordance with all regulatory and UTC requirements.

You are also responsible for identification and leading implementation of export compliance authorization process improvements.

The successful candidate will provide support, training and guidance to authorizations owners and users within Aftermarket function.

Additional skills and requirements are as follows:

*Good organizational skills, communicator and have ability to train.

*Ability to manage multiple projects, tracking plans to commitments and driving actions to a fully documented closure

*Be able to work on a cross functional team and effectively communicate with our international sites and business partners (IT, Engineering, Operations, etc.)

*Assist with site assessment process and drive corrective actions to closure

*Assist with IAPS wide investigations, corrective actions and voluntary disclosures.

*Create standard work where appropriate.


*Strong understanding of authorization requirements pursuant to Non-US Export Regulations; specifically the Wassenaar ML and Dual-Use Goods Lists;

*Understanding of US Export Regulations - ITAR/EAR/OFAC authorization requirements

*Experience with IT tools, SAP, GTS, OCR, MKDenial, etc. is a plus

*Minimum 3 to 4 years working with ITC matters

*Requires good communications skills: verbal, oral, written and presentations

*ITC certifications, training, etc. is a plus

*Aerospace experience a plus

All candidates should have substantial experience with the authorization requirements pursuant to Non-US Export Regulations; specifically the Wassenaar ML and Dual-Use Goods Lists as well as the ITAR, EAR regulations and the ability to work in a complex, fast moving environment with multiple international partners and foreign nationals.
