Support Worker - Vulnerable Young Adults

My client based in Nuneaton are looking to recruit an experienced Support worker on a temporary basis for 3 months. You will need a current enhanced DBS check that allows you to work with children to apply for this role.
As a Support Worker you will deliver highly skilled outcome driven support based on a comprehensive understanding of the legislative, bureaucratic and policy frameworks that affect the lives of vulnerable young people, particularly those faced with the risk of homelessness.
Such support will require a highly developed understanding of the challenges, needs and issues affecting young people and of the strategies and approaches best suited to help them address these, whilst simultaneously enabling opportunities for each individual to develop and sustain improved wellbeing and quality of life.
You will manage and support a diverse, complex and at times challenging caseload evidencing the delivery of meaningful, significant and tangible improvements in the lives of vulnerable young people and how they are preventing their long term homelessness.
About you:
The successful candidate will have a secondary level education and will have a proven track record of delivering one to one support that has resulted in positive outcomes for clients. You will have the proven ability to work with difficult and challenging clients and the proven track record of working cooperatively with colleagues and other agencies to ensure clients achieve positive outcomes.
Ideally you will also have your own transport should additional properties need support.
