Right now we are seeking an experienced and professional Area Sales Manager for a market leader within the Heavyside sector to cover the West Midlands.

Your job:

In this role as an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for sales of Heavyside products pursuing new and existing business opportunities by contacting potential and existing customers. Other duties include:

  • To achieve budget volume/price for both brick and block for the portfolio
  • To keep abreast of developments in commercial, technical and policy matters
  • To develop business via existing customer base
  • To plan journeys and customer calls in order to achieve optimum use of time
  • To monitor the efficiency of present procedures and systems


  • Up to £35,000 Base Salary

  • 27 days holiday + statutory days

Job requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will possess direct sales experience
  • Sold to merchants & contractors
  • High level of self-motivation, resilience and determination
  • An ability to prioritise their own workload and work independently
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Lotus Notes)
