Key Account Manager

Location: Home based - 1 day per week at office in East Midlands

Package: Competitive salary, car allowance, 26 days annual leave, Mobile, Laptop

Must have:
• Minimum HND/Degree in Engineering
• Experienced within Key Account Management - evidence of maintaining and growing existing accounts

What you will be doing: You will be responsible for some of our key accounts within the automotive sector with potential for the future to move into aerospace also. You will be responsible for winning new business and repeat business, protecting and growing existing revenue and safeguarding profit margins. You will be responsible for implementing the company's sales strategy meeting the demands of all stakeholders - customers, employee and suppliers.

Roles & responsibilities:
• Build a detailed understanding of the customer, markets and competitors
• Produce robust business plans to exceed sales and profit targets
• Follow the tender through to completion through close liaison with the customer
What we're looking for: Someone who is currently a Key Account Manager, experience within automotive is not essential but beneficial. It is important that you are passionate about developing and building customer relationships with the ability to engage at all business levels will put you in good stead

Experience & Skills
• Sales/business development experience
• Test equipment/ Capital equipment Sales Experience
• Accomplished sales experience with a variety of large clients
• Analytical, using authority and judgement
• Excellent presentation skills
• Exceptional written and spoken English
• 4-6 Client meetings per week
