Our client is a niche, global business with offices within the Staffordshire area, they offer exciting opportunities within their company structure and the Sales Engineer role is an involved position holding responsibility; there is great training, room for progression and the opportunity for worldwide travel. Our client is looking to expand their current Sales Engineers team.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and competent Sales Engineer to work within the Chemical Engineering sector. The role of Sales Engineer will include:

  • Developing business and key relationships directly with customers and a network of agents
  • Negotiating sales deals, quotations and pricing
  • Take projects from initial concept through to complete proposal process
  • Securing high value capital process plant equipment sales in to key markets globally
  • Travel internationally to create sales opportunities and attend industry trade shows and exhibitions

It would be good to see candidates with:

  • Have a project led sales approach and ability to manage long lead times
  • An engineering background, an offshore or process package plant background
  • A Chemical Engineering qualification
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Commercially astute
  • Tenacious
  • Project work experience
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder communication ability

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: Negotiable plus car allowance and expenses
