Junior HR Advisor

My client are a the UK's leading learning and development company working with public and private sector clients to improve personal and professional knowledge, accountability and responsibilities. With a head office based in Telford, they now have a requirement for an experienced HR Assistant who is looking to make the step up into a junior Advisory role with study support and long term career progression offered.
Your new role
This is a fully generalist HR role where you will be required to deliver on all aspects of the HR Generalist remit including; Recruitment, Employee Relations and Absence Management.
You will liaise with local management on all HR issues and offer sensitive advice and support in a timely manner, arranging Interviews, recruitment administration; including letters of invitation to interview, schedules, packs and feedback letters preparation of contract packs, monitoring return of documents and recording as appropriate. You will update internal systems with new starters, changes and document update information whilst monitoring compliance alerts and acting as appropriate.
You will be involved in recruitment processes, support performance management processes and employee development and training projects. You will assist with employee relations issues, maintain technical and legal knowledge through continued learning and development and assist with organisational communications
What you'll need to succeed
You will have exceptional record management skills, good communication skills and a minimum of 2 years' practical experience working within an HR department at an advisory level in the provision of generalist HR support desirable.
You will have a sound understanding of employment legislation and relevant codes of practice (UK) with the ability to work to deadlines and juggle a varied and busy workload.
