Initially working within the Co-op Retail Business Transformation (RBT) Team in Co-op Head Office, you will focus on the launch of the new Supplier Portal. You will be working with the Co-op RBT Team to ensure the new portal is best in class, fit for purpose, user friendly & is launched effectively with the supply base. After a year the role will potentially develop into other areas of the Tulip business. This will be reviewed nearer the time.



Initially Based: Co-op Head Office, Angel Square, Manchester (12 months)

Start date: July 18



Ideal skill set for role or ability for you to learn quickly!


* Background understanding of retail and relationships between retailer and supplier
* Experience of using other retailer portals with a view to establishing best practice approach
* Experience of SAP and integration with portal technology, ideally sharepoint
* Understanding of challenges faced by retail/supplier in transfer of large volume of data business to business
* Data quality is key to success of future portal and underpins SAP business case delivery, portal is the first gate in this process in many instance
* Design skill to establish effective intuitive portal workflow, user experience, user interface
* Experience of project phases, scope, requirements, design, build, test, launch and ongoing support
* Management of change, this will be both internal through trading team, across supply base also
* Planning to manage transition from old portal to new portal and ways of working
* Training, planning training approach, development and delivery where applicable of training materials
* Communication skills, primarily taking complicated design scenarios and putting them into simple to understand terms for the business users
* To work alongside the Co-op team to provide end to end user acceptance testing of the promotional process during pilot through to end state
