Area Manager

We are working with a rapidly expanding waste resource company who have a new opportunity within their business, for an Area Manager covering the West Midlands region.

The purpose of this role is to procure waste into landfill and recycling sites either under control of the company or in partnership with third parties, identifying and supporting market development opportunities in the area. You will identify and review opportunities for development of existing and new sites within the area to optimise the business opportunities for the business.

Ensure quality of the recycled product is appropriate and in compliance with industry standards. Conduct construction site visits to ensure compliance with waste acceptance procedures. You will carry out site audits and advise on the different waste streams and confirm the best disposal routes.

You will advise clients on compliance issues. In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have experience within waste management including hazardous waste. You must have; basic maths and literacy, landfill and recycling COTC at appropriate level for sites, NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
