To carry out a range of duties, to ensure the safety, security, maintenance and cleanliness of the premises and the surrounding site. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the premises for visitors, tenants and their clients.

Responsibilities
a) Act as a key holder for unlocking and locking the premises, ensuring that the fire and intruder alarms are activated and fully operational.
b) Act as a master keyholder responsible for emergency call-outs and liaison with Chubb the alarm company, in the event of fire damage/burglary, floods etc.
c) Undertake cleaning and caretaking responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.
d) Ensuring standards of safety, cleanliness and tidiness are maintained
e) Minor maintenance of premises, internal fixtures, fittings and furniture.
f) On closing the building check all windows and fire doors are closed in all communal areas and offices, ensuring all lights are switched off.

Main Duties
a) Cleaning duties including tenants and office space, reception and all communal areas including stairs and corridors, all toilet areas on site to a high standard as per the organisations cleaning schedule.
b) Ensuring that toilets are regularly inspected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and that they are maintained with an adequate supply of soap, toilet rolls etc
c) Set up and clear down of meeting rooms, cleaning down tables, remove used kitchenware, hoover as required.
d) Cleaning of internal glass windows throughout the building on a rota basis.
e) Undertake minor maintenance of premises, internal fixtures, fittings and furniture, replacement of bulbs etc.
f) Empty communal rubbish bins and recycling bins to dispose of in the main bin collection point.
g) Ensure security on site including CCTV, alarm systems and locks are utilised appropriately.
h) Movement of furniture and equipment around the centre as and when required.
i) Ensuring sufficient stocks of essential janitorial materials are maintained e.g. soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, light bulbs etc
j) Monitor health & safety on site at the premisies and report any issues.

Essential Criteria
QUALIFICATIONS

1. Health & Safely related qualifications
EXPERIENCE
1. Experience of providing janitorial, cleaning and caretaking services.
2. Experience of providing customer services.
3. Experience of providing on site security services.
4. Basic experience of building maintenance
