Cannock Chase High School is a vibrant and ambitious learning community. We are seeking to appoint Receptionist/ First Aider with excellent customer service skills, to provide a professional and welcoming service to our visitors, contractors, students and staff and to work in partnership with staff across the academy to provide the best learning experience for our students. As the first point of contact you will be familiar with the whole school structure and procedures and will confidently answer general enquiries. You will have a solutions focused aptitude and will liaise with colleagues across the school to resolve ad-hoc and specific enquiries efficiently.
The role incorporates First Aid provision to staff students and visitors to the site as needed, and you will keep accurate administrative records of accidents and first aid.
The successful candidate will be part of the Business Services Team and will contribute to developing excellent service provision across the team, for both our internal and external customers.
You will have experience of working in a busy reception or office environment, be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, use Microsoft Office based systems, including Word and Excel. You will be able to prioritise your workload, putting customers first and to work accurately in an organized manner with many interruptions. You will be expected to show initiative and adopt a flexible approach to your work. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and hard-working and will put the needs of our students and the smooth running of the school at the heart of what they do.
