Our client is a software development house based in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. For more than sixteen years the company has achieved double digit annual organic growth, building web-based software systems for some of the UK's biggest companies, using Microsoft technologies. Now with a permanent team of 42 and sales of more than GBP3m, they aim to double the size of the business within 3 years and are looking for ambitious individuals to take real responsibility in realising this goal.

Clients typically engage the company to develop innovative systems that are used by their customers to their increase their sales and improve their service, as well as internal systems to improve their processes and increase efficiency.

Location:

Stratford-upon-Avon, commutable from Alcester, Banbury, Birmingham, Coventry, Evesham, Leamington Spa, Redditch, Warwick and Worcester.

Role profile:

The company are seeking a Commercial Lead to join their team. Previous experience in B2B software sales is highly desirable. Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and converting opportunities into orders with multiple clients, typically on a 6-week iterative basis. You will work closely with their team of Business Analysts to manage the commercial aspects of a project.

You will engage with both new and existing clients to understand their objectives and provide trusted consultation to establish, manage and prioritise an ongoing roadmap of work. The role will also involve writing detailed and high quality commercial proposals, including responding to competitive tenders, PQQ's and RFP's often to tight deadlines and presenting to prospects and clients. You must be able to close opportunities that are commercially acceptable to both the company and their clients, and not be afraid of ambitious targets.

You should be creative, a good problem solver, a team player, and have:

- A passion for technology and be someone who is highly computer literate; - Exceptional written English skills; - Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with all levels of stakeholders; - Advanced commercial awareness; - Full UK driving licence.
