Your new company
You will be working as a training programme lead on an award winning training programme which provides travel training to vulnerable young people who have learning or physical difficulties, to enable them to travel on public transport to school or collage. This role will be term time only, so 39 weeks of the year.
Your new role
As training programme lead you will be ensuring the highest standards of travel training are delivered to learners so they can develop confidence on public transport. You will be responsible for the recruitment on learners on to the programmes, via relationships with local authorities, schools and other referral agencies. You will produce marketing and advertising materials to promote the programme. You will then carry a caseload of learners and deliver training. You will monitor assessment procedures and keep clear and accurate records of each learner, and inform cares and parents of their progress. You will also supervise the Travel Trainers and associated volunteers.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only.
What you'll need to succeed
You should hold a minimum Level 3 in a relevant field and experience of working in a training environment and experience of working with young people. You should also be confident in producing structured reports and have worked to service level agreement previously. You should also have supervised at least 3 people.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of GBP21426.40 for 39 weeks worth a year. Working Monday to Friday, term time only gives you great flexibility. You also will get the chance to work for an award winning programme and make a real difference to young people's lives.
