Payroll and Accounts Officer

Approximately 18 hours per week

Salary dependent on experience

A vacancy has arisen for a Payroll and Accounts Officer, reporting to the Practice Manager. This role is primarily to maximise income generation for the Practice. 

The successful candidate should have proven experience in payroll management and accounting software systems.  Manage and reconcile finance / bank accounts, manage Partners drawings and liaise with HRMC, the Pensions regulator and the Practice Accountant.

The ability to work independently, accurately and be well organised are all essential criterion. 

Knowledge of NHS Pension Scheme, IRIS, Payroll and accounting system would be advantageous.

The preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills and have ideally worked in a General Practice role previously.
