A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for two multi disciplined (Electrical / Mechanical / Controls) Commissioning & Service Engineers to travel nationally & internationally for a well established, highly regarded industry leader and manufacturer of bespoke industrial capital equipment. Over 35 years experience and relationships worldwide within the concrete and brick manufacturing industry sectors.

Location: Stoke based:National Service mainly with in a 150 miles of Staffordshire. International coverage: Thailand China Far East Canada Texas Mexico New Zealand

Skills & requirements :Strong electrical installation, diagnostics and repair AC/ DCGood working knowledge of Industrial Mechanical machinery.Competent in both Allan Bradley and Siemens PLC diagnostics. Experience of Burner machinery advantageous. Excellent organisation and administration ability. Strong communicator able to communicate with customers from varied cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Commercially aware, customer focused and easy to approach. Presentable and self motivated. Flexible and autonomous.
Prerequisite :Engineering certifications in electrical engineering
Full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points. British passport will be required for visa purposes to enter specific countries. Clear DBS with no criminal convictions
Salary package: Up to £42k plus car or car allowance up to the value of £260 per month. All expenses paid with company credit card.Additional £25 per day stat away allowance. Training and travel opportunities.
Hours: Uk Field Service will be based in Stoke in Trent. 8.30 -5pm Monday - Thursday. Friday 8.30-4.30. 1 hour lunch break No standby or call out currently in place. International commissioning hours will differ dependent on the country and project. Typically Monday-Friday 8-10 hrs per day. Occasional 1/2 or full day Saturday and no Sunday. You may need to stay away for up to 4 months in one year with an average 2 weeks away at a time.
