Specialist - Supply Chain Management
Siemens AGT are recruiting a Specialist SCM within our Aftermarket Supply Chain function to work in our office in Warwick (UK).
Reporting to the Supply Chain Function and working within the Distributed Oil & Gas Services Business Unit. The successful candidate will need to ensure robust and optimised supply chains are in place to deliver outstanding performance and competitive advantage to our business stakeholders.
Over the past few years, our aero-derivative turbine business has successfully grown to be a 1 billion per annum global business by focusing on the supply and support of aero-derivative gas turbine packages and equipment to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. The business has supplied over 4,000 gas turbines to customers in over 80 countries accumulating over 200 million hours of operating experience. It is our vision to be the customers' first choice for distributed power generation and compression systems solutions.
What are my responsibilities?
Carry out in depth cost breakdowns analysis and ensure the lowest TCA to meet divisional cost reduction targets.
Drive cost reduction and resourcing programmes to support strategy execution ensuring impact on existing supply chains are managed.
Drive the implementation of Commodity and Supplier strategies to provide supply chains capable of providing business needs across all stakeholder areas.
Develop and foster mutually beneficial relationships with Supply Chains, including risk-sharing partnerships where applicable and enabling access to new technology / expertise.
Ensure Contracts are in place at the appropriate time to mitigate commercial risk and optimise commercial advantage for current and future programmes.
Assess macro and micro risks within the Commodity Group / Supply chain and ensuring strategy includes mitigation of such risk.
Understand the global supply market for selected Commodity Groups and ensure that the Commodity Strategy optimises the use of global supply chain options.
Contribute to interdisciplinary project work to optimize business processes
Prepare and conduct complex analysis to supply data to enable Supply Chain decisions
What do I need to do this job?

Outstanding knowledge of cost analysis, cost estimation, total cost of acquisition and SLA management.
Good understanding of business strategy and plans to ensure alignment, Familiarity with component Manufacturing processes and Quality Control Processes
Proven experience in leading Strategic programmes of work
Preferably Bachelor Degree or CIPS qualified
Minimum 3 years experienced in working for large *blue chip- companies involved in significant International trade of goods across all Continents with different corporate cultures.
Have a professional and flexible attitude
Excellent Global Stakeholder management experience
