Job Purpose:Our clients Business Unit in Warwick, designs, develops and manufactures hydraulic andelectro-hydraulic solutions for mobile applications. They are looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on key global mobile platforms.The project manager will work across multi groupand divisional teams in and outside of the UK to ensure project success and help to grow the business and deliver premier customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure quality, cost and delivery of new projects / programmes by:

Full accountability for all elements of a programme to ensure successful execution

Comply with the requirements of our Quality Management System, Health and Safety Legislation and best safety practices.

Responsible for liaison with all Stakeholders throughout the life of a project.

Lead a multi-disciplined and multi-country team to smooth transition of projects through all phases to full production implementation and in-service support

Ensure customer satisfaction both internal and external

Understand, co-ordinate and communicate relevant risks to the project

Accountable for managing high value project budget to ensure targets are met

Conduct customer and supplier visits to manage project requirements

Ensure technical proposals and quotations for system and sub-system projects are produced in a timely, profitable and realistic manner

Carry out project management activities as required to support the projects

Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of projects from development to production phase. ? Liaise with relevant Quality departments to ensure quality standards are maintained

Engage in HPT activities for continuous improvements.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Degree level education (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical subject

A minimum of 3 years proven experience in project management in an engineering environment

Contract negotiation skills and commercial acumen

Excellent problem-solving skills

Knowledge of hydraulic engineering and design practices is beneficial

Excellent communication and team working skills ? Excellent planning and organisational skills

Microsoft office and project, JD Edwards experience would be of benefit

Innovative in approach to solution generation

Ability to coordinate and facilitate activities of a multi-disciplined team ? Have a positive, pro-active attitude ? Keen Lean practitioner, with knowledge of Lean enterprise

Full driving licence and be prepared to travel in the UK and overseas and occasional nights away
