We have a requirement for a Credit Controller to work with a fantastic leading manufacturing company in the Stoke on Trent area. The company offers exceptional quality and service to their vast customer base and are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to manage the end-to-end credit control process.

Job Description:

  • As a credit controller you will be handling accounts for over 800 different customers with monthly spends up to the tens of thousands
  • On a daily basis, manage customer list with end to end credit control
  • As a Credit Controller you will deal with customers over the phone, adapting your style and approach to suit each customer
  • Processing of orders
  • Chasing of debt
  • Query resolution
  • Processing cash receipts when required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a credit controller and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a robust open plan environment
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly with customers over the phone and in person with their sales team
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Adaptable style and approach
  • Resilience and ability to overcome barriers
  • Flexible approach to working hours in order to get the job done

This is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Uttoxeter, Newcastle under Lyme

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum
