Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a school for children with social, emotional and mental health issues. For this school, we are looking for a Teacher with a drive and passion to make a difference with challenging students.

As a SEMH school with daily challenges, the Head is looking for a Teacher who can commit to a long term, full time role and who wants to engage children back into education.

We are looking for:
?? A committed and knowledgeable English Teacher who can support Key Stage 3 & 4 learners up to GCSE level.
?? A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches.
?? A dedicated English Teacher who can provide consistency for the length of the vacancy with planning and preparing lessons to a high standard whilst managing challenging behaviours.

The main areas of responsibility will be:

* Co-coordinating English and Literacy and rapidly raise our student's literacy levels;
* Developing our curriculum in order to improve suitable outcomes for all our students, especially at GCSE level;
* Being responsible for the English and Literacy curriculum design; to offer all students the opportunity to learn at KS3 & 4;
* Leading others by example of outstanding quality of learning and teaching;
* Lead by example in effectively using data across the school to challenge expectations and to raise standards of achievement in reading, writing, speaking and listening etc;
support the Executive Headteacher, Head of School and their Management Committee in
* Continuing to move the school forward in all educational aspects of English and Literacy in today's educational climate and contribute to all other aspects of development of school to become an outstanding Pupil Referral Unit.
Other responsibilities will be discussed with the successful candidate on appointment.

As an expert English Teacher, you will be able to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that ignite a passion for the subject, whilst managing behaviour of children with social, emotional and mental health issues.
