About the Role:
In this role, you will be based within various departments, supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will be asked to mentor the students throughout their studies, to ensure they stay on track and progress into their career choice. In addition, you will be required to coach the students to ensure that personal development targets are reached.
You will be joining a new team of graduates, who are all looking to gain paid experience for the full academic year in a school that can really support and progress your career in teaching. This school are invested in the power of graduates, not only to raise academic progress, but all to raise aspirations.
To be successful in the role, you will need to have a can-do attitude and a willingness to hit the ground running in this fabulous new graduate opportunity! This school are looking for graduates who can build strong relationships with their students and not only enable them to progress in their career, but also develop personally.
Experience working with young people is highly desirable, particularly if your experience is transferable into these subjects… Maybe you have been a Sports Coach or had experience in summer camps, maybe you’ve been a Graduate Teaching Assistant before?
Don’t worry, subject knowledge isn’t essential, however you will need to be willing to think on your feet and get stuck in to make the most of the opportunity.
