Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse SEN SUPPORT
Sandhills Day Nursery is a well-established Day Nursery offering the highest standards of care and play opportunities to children aged 0 to 5 years of age. Our overall ethos is to nurture and establish our children’s love for learning and exploration by providing the best possible experiences and opportunities. We are recruiting a permanent Nursery Nurse/ Early Years Practitioner to cover 1:1 support for children within receipt of AEN funding where necessary. Experience in dealing with physical disabilities is preferred but not essential. You will be required to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (Mon-Fri). This is an opportunity to work within a small organisation to really make a difference. Working as part of the Sandhills team, you will deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities through a wide range of activities. You will be able to communicate well with young children and their parents and carers and have working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. With a minimum of Level 3 Early Years Qualification, you must have experience of dealing with young children.
