Hourly rate - £11.00 per hour
Hours – 25 hours per week, 8am – 1pm Monday to Friday.
Wolverhampton Grand is a long-established Theatre in the heart of the Midlands. It receives a wide range of major touring productions including drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety, concerts, children’s shows and one of the biggest pantomimes in the UK, with audiences from across the region and beyond.
We are now seeking a part-time member staff to fulfil the role of Maintenance Manager.
The purpose of this role is to manage and maintain the day to day facilities around the Theatre, arrange and manage all contractors in and out of the premises, to perform troubleshooting to solve repair issues. To be proficient in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating work.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters with a view to managing relationships and maintenance contracts going forward.
The candidate will hold a Level 2 plumbing qualification, and Electrotechnical services experience or Level 3 qualification. The role holder will have significant experience in managing contracts, people and schedules of work.
The candidate must be a strong communicator, pro-active and have the ability to think in fast paced situations.
