Salary: From £15,268.50 - £18,380 pa.

Winslow Court is a residential centre for adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Winslow Court provides residential support for young adults aged 18 years and over, who have a severe learning disability, autism, communication difficulties, challenging behaviours, mental health and other complex needs.

You will support the residents of Winslow Court within the home, supporting and teaching life skills such as cooking or cleaning.

The position also involves planning and carrying out a range of activities to suit the interests of the people you care for, this could mean long walks in the countryside, pottery or even swimming! We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the residents of Winslow Court have access to a wide range of hobbies and day trips.

You will also support with personal care including toileting, bathing and showering.

We offer a thorough 12 week induction schedule that includes training in the following areas: Safeguarding Adults, Non Abusive Physical and Psychological intervention, Autism Awareness, Epilepsy Awareness, First Aid and many more. As part of the induction schedule you will also attend shadow shifts to ease you into the role.

You will join a team of experienced professionals who will be able to offer support and guidance.

The company will fund you to study the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, if you haven't already obtained this qualification.
