Salary GBP20,000 Negotiable depending on experience

Full Time 9:15-5:45 although we offer flexible working as standard

We're looking for people to join our team and work with us - not for us.

We're a lively bunch who spend our time debating, analysing and trying to understand human behaviour and perceptions. The office is relaxed - table tennis tables, yoga on a Wednesday, fruit, a proper coffee machine - but we work hard too. Through a combination of talking to real people and using statistics we help brands like Waitrose, Virgin and the National Trust better understand their customers, market, and marketing.

The Role:

As a Data Processing Executive you'll write computer programs using market research software (in which we provide full training). These programs are used to process completed market research interviews into data tables for the Client Service department. These data tables are then used by the client service team to analyse and understand our client's brands (as a DP exec, you'll be part of this conversation too???)

This part of the role is therefore less about pure computer programming - and more about the understanding and interaction of data with business. Strong maths skills are a must.

The other aspect of the role is the scripting of online survey's using the Askia software suite. This is where some form of pure computer programming experience would help, but again, training will be provided - and the role initially will be more data-processing focused.

The Ideal Candidate Would Be:

We are looking for a graduate, ideally with a BSc in Computing, Maths or Physics. Scripting or data-processing experience would be an advantage, but is not a necessity. Strong Excel skills will help - and experience of specific statistical software such as SPSS would be a bonus. You'll need to be highly numerate, logical and be comfortable handling large quantities of data. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are a foundation. In addition, it's a quick-fire environment, so communication and organisation skills are part of the position.

Salary at our graduate entry level of GBP20,000 but this is negotiable on level of experience. We're looking for someone to start ASAP at our Head Office in Warwick.
