Our client is a specialist engineering college based in Leamington Spa teaching young engineers the skills of the trade putting them through their engineering apprenticeship within the automotive industry.
They are looking for people who can teach a broad range of engineering subjects which could include:
• Manufacturing Processes
• Computer Aided Design
• Computer Aided Engineering
• Computer Aided Manufacturing
• Materials for Manufacture
The position will involve teaching, preparation and assessment of the students and updating their records.
Obviously, health & safety is paramount in their type of position.
The successful candidate will learn how to plan lessons, promote equality and engage with diversity, meeting the needs of individual students and groups.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours.
The holiday entitlement is 35 days per annum plus 12 statutory days for full time.
The successful candidate will need to be DBS checked.
Candidates will need to have an engineering degree, HNC or equivalent qualification and evidence of formal structured training in engineering e.g. an engineering apprenticeship.
Ideally you will have a full teaching qualification - however candidates with experience of teaching apprentice engineers in an engineering company will definitely be considered.
They are looking for someone with vision, drive and enthusiasm - someone very organised.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to mentor young engineers to give them the benefit of your engineering experience.
